MSFW- 2012 Designer Series Runway 4

MSFW-   Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Runway 4 was held at Melbourne Town Hall on the 8th September, was spectacular. I loved seeing the sea of fashionistas attending the event it was amazing. Being able to see a lot of different personal styles in the one place was inspirational.

Runway 4 was the last of the designer series featuring Alice McCall, ALPHA60, Bul, DRESS UP, Gorman, KUWAII, Megan Park, Obus and We Are Handsome.

The clothing featured by the designers was a mixture between
-Architectural clothes
-Resort wear
-Swim wear

The hair by KEVIN.MURPHY was aimed at a wet look. The makeup by Mecca Maxima was aimed at pushing passed luminosity without using wet products. With a white organic streak above the eyes which gives it a modern fresh look.

David Jones is a known and loved department store in Australia and their annual Spring and Summer Fashion Launch was nothing short of spectacular.

David Jones have many fabulous designers including Lisa ho, Camila, Collette Dinnigan, Zanerobe, Lee Mathews, Zimmermann, Kirrily Johnston, Willow, Bassike, Akira, Jac+Jack, Ginger & Smart, Roopa Pemmaraju, Cammilla and Marc, We Are Hansome, Ksubi, Romance Was Born Jets, Isola, Brent Wilson, Alice McCall, Trelise Cooper, Alannah Hill, Dion lee, Lover, Gary Bigeni, Scanlan and Theodore, Josh Goot, Jack London, Thurley, Carla Zampatti, Alex perry and many more.

 I have to say my favorites were Josh Goot, Zimmermann, Lisa ho, Camila, Collette Dinnigan, Ginger&Smart, Dion Lee, Carla Zampatti and the stunning red dress (6:20) by Alex Perry LOVE!!!

The trends that are coming into spring and summer are COLOUR! but also white white white!!!
