Christmas Wish List

I saw this amazing jacket online and fell in love instantly, finally fashion forward for the plus size gal! I just ordered mine. I suggest you do to if you love it... I get the feeling it won't be around long. I paired it with items I love, fingers crossed Santa is good this year.

SO: ME Space at South Melbourne Market

I recently visited SO: ME Space located at South Melbourne Market, 322-326 Coventry Street, South Melbourne 3205. I have never known about this great space which is dedicated to bringing together emerging and established Australian designers.  With a mix of permanent stores and temporary pop-up stalls you are sure to find a treasure or two, even discover a new designer you might fall in love with like I did.

I fell in love with Curio & Curio their stuff is bright, fun, colourful, playful and yet simple good design another new company I found out about is ANEVA who have African inspired furniture, mats and accessories with bright vibrant colours.

The market is open Wednesday (8am-4pm), Friday (8am-5pm), Saturday (8am-4pm) and Sunday (8am-4pm), with a night market running on Thursday 5:30 til 9:30pm, 4th October til 20th December 2012

There are many more these where my favourite. 

            SO: ME Space have made palettes into display benches and surprisingly comfortable seating  

 

     

I also have to say the food was delicious I had the chicken burrito from the food stand Bar Burrito which will soon be opening its own permanent restaurant on the outside of the market. Which I can not wait for, it was the best I have ever had. The other sensational food at the market that everyone was talking about was the freshly made paella, walking past this the smell was amazing! I will have to go back and buy it. I hope you go check out SO: ME Space and enjoy the great food and check out what the stores have to offer.
